060609 , I got an assignment thru groom's sister to capture her younger brother wedding in Kapar , Klang . Not familiar much with the area , my partner , Rahman & I were kind of wondering where wud be the best place to do an outdoor photography after the solemnization . So , while the rest were enjoying their meal , we took a drive with a relative of the bride ..honestly , a very cheerful , helpful guy ..he thinks he is a clone of Anuar Zain ..well , we leave that subject aside....

We found this nice fisherman point that leading to a sea ...with all the boats parked at the jetty ,..the thought came to our mind ..why dont we take photos with the couple on the boat ...we spoke to the boat caretaker ..we need two boats ..one for us and one for the bride and the groom ..we paid fifty bucks for that but we think its damn worth it ...

MAJLIS NIKAH HAZIAN & AMAN : A BROWNISH SERIES....

This time around , I was so lucky to work with a bride with 'tak kisah ' attitude ..any proposal that i put forward for photography she would say ..ikut je ...so i decided to go a bit beyond the norm ..pushing the photography style slightly out of the 'standard practices'...some frens call me crazy to bring along the 'kerusi jati ' to a site for an outdoor photography ..but what the heck ..worth the effort ..thanks to Rahman who has there to help me as well as bringing in his 4 x 4 truck for transportation ... When the nite came for the 'persalinan shot ' ..i decided to take the shot in the street of Seremban ...its abt midnite ..quite scary though since they could be unwanted strangers that could pose some kind of danger...i be responsinble for the bride safety ...as well as making sure that no one steal my gear ...especially when we were shooting at one of the back alley ......all and all , i could say that i'm happy with the outcome... this time around for the post processing , i decided just to create a series of brownish tone photos...so here they are ...........

PREPARATION FOR MAJLIS SANDING - BLACK & WHITE SERIES

After been playing with different color tone , color variation ... today i decided to just work on black and white photos ...these are photos of a bride being prepared for a majlis sanding ... the majlis took place at Kg Sungai Layang , Sri Menanti on May 2, 2009 . The majlis was pretty simple as the bride and groom had gone thru Majlis Nikah couple of months back .. I got the assignment just two days before the event after i got a called from the bride's sister whom I know pretty well... actually her sister married to my ex-housemate . I was the introducer...............long story .

Majlis nikah and bersanding of this couple scheduled to be on the 12 & 13 of June respectively ...as part of the package for hiring us the photography of their special day , another partner of mine , Rahman @ Man Adol has generously given a free domain for them to create their own site ..and a their site was created called ..Sheezamaniz.com
What to do with the site ?...of course would be to load all their wedding photos as a start ... Man suggested to do some pre-wedding shots even though this wasnt part of the package ..well since our schedule of May 9th is free ...why not then ...
We came up with a concept ..sadly , that concept could not be worked out due to last minute ' unavailability of what we need' ...
and the morning sun didnt turn out the wat that we would have wished it to be ... morning was gloomy as if its going to be raining ...there wasnt much lite ..we worked things out based on what we could ..and here are some of the outcome ...
Also thanks to ezam for buying us the breakfast that morning ....
